NeverSpam +
Apollo.io.
The apollo warmup integration that fixes the gap Apollo's own warmup leaves open. Apollo's add-on warms the sender; NeverSpam warms your real Apollo.io sequence — paste your subject and body and we warm that against 100K+ real seed inboxes.
From Apollo to inbox in 3 steps.
Connect your sender
Google OAuth (5-min Cloud setup) or SMTP/IMAP. Same senders you have connected as mailboxes in Apollo — no DNS changes, no MX rerouting.
Paste from Apollo
Copy each step of your Apollo sequence. Variables like {{first_name}} stay as tokens — we resolve them realistically per seed inbox. We warm that — same subject, same body, same links.
Placement data + webhooks
NeverSpam surfaces inbox-placement test data per sender and per sequence step. Pipe webhook events to Zapier or Make to pause unhealthy mailboxes in Apollo automatically.
Five-minute Apollo warmup integration setup.
- 01
Generate an Apollo API key
In Apollo, open
Settings → Integrations → APIand create a key. We use it for read-only access to your sequences and mailboxes. - 02
Decide on Apollo's warmup add-on
If you're paying for Apollo's warmup add-on, leave it running for 7–14 days alongside NeverSpam. Once NeverSpam's template-based signal ramps, most teams disable Apollo's warmup to keep the signal clean and the sender inbox uncluttered.
- 03
Sign up for NeverSpam
Create an account at app.neverspam.com.
- 04
Connect senders
Google OAuth for Workspace, SMTP/IMAP for Microsoft 365. Use the same mailboxes Apollo is sending sequences from.
- 05
Paste your Apollo sequence
Click New template → Paste from Apollo. Drop in the subject and body of each step. NeverSpam preserves your variables and lets you resolve them realistically per seed inbox.
- 06
Wire up the webhook (optional)
In NeverSpam
Settings → Webhooks, add a Zapier or Make endpoint. We post Active / Standby / Bad / Delayed events you can map to an Apollo "disable mailbox" action. - 07
Launch and monitor
Warmup volume ramps automatically over 14 days. Watch placement %, by-provider breakdown, and per-mailbox deliverability in the dashboard. Read the 2026 warmup guide for benchmarks.
Deliverability that transfers to Apollo.
Template fidelity
Apollo's warmup add-on is sender-only and template-blind — it builds reputation by exchanging short, friendly emails between senders in a pool. Your real Apollo sequence has links, CTAs, and a value prop that filters score differently. NeverSpam warms the exact template so reputation transfers to your actual cold outreach.
Real seed pool
100K+ live seed inboxes across Gmail, Workspace, Outlook.com, and Microsoft 365 — including custom-domain Workspace tenants, which is where Apollo users actually send. Each warmup email returns a real Inbox / Promotions / Spam / Updates classification.
Per-step scoring
Apollo sequences have multiple steps with different copy. NeverSpam scores each step independently, so you find out which step lands in inbox and which gets pushed to Promotions — before any of your real prospects see the loser. Optimize the sequence on data, not guesses.
Questions, answered.
Does Apollo have email warmup?
Apollo recently added an email warmup add-on that exchanges short conversational emails between senders inside an Apollo-managed pool. Per their docs, it warms the sender — the email address — by building reputation through generic threads. It does not warm your actual Apollo sequence content. NeverSpam is template-based and warms the exact subject and body you'll send.
How is NeverSpam different from Apollo's built-in warmup?
Apollo's built-in warmup is sender-only and template-blind, per the Apollo documentation. NeverSpam is template-based: you paste your Apollo sequence and we warm that exact content against 100K+ real seed inboxes on Gmail, Workspace, Outlook, and Microsoft 365. Spam filters score your actual outbound content as inbox-worthy before your first prospect ever sees it.
Can NeverSpam tag senders back into Apollo?
Apollo's API v1 exposes account and sequence endpoints but sender-status tagging is more limited than tools like Smartlead. We surface placement scores in the NeverSpam dashboard and via webhook — pipe events to Zapier or Make to pause unhealthy senders in Apollo automatically. We're building tighter native integration as Apollo opens up more API surface area.
Should I disable Apollo's warmup add-on when I use NeverSpam?
You can run both in parallel for the first 7–14 days to compare placement, but most teams turn off Apollo's warmup once NeverSpam's template-based signal has ramped. Running two warmup streams on the same sender means double the inbound seed mail and gives your domain a mixed reputation profile that filters can find confusing.
Will NeverSpam work with Apollo Sequences and Plays?
Yes. Paste each step of your Apollo sequence into NeverSpam as a separate template. Plays that automate sending are unaffected — NeverSpam runs warmup volume on a separate, throttled schedule that stays well under Workspace and Microsoft 365 daily caps, alongside whatever Apollo Plays are sending.
How long until placement improves on an Apollo sequence?
Most Apollo senders see meaningfully better inbox placement within 7–10 days, and full reputation ramp by day 21. Brand-new domains and freshly provisioned Workspace senders need closer to 30 days. See our warmup duration guide for the day-by-day breakdown.
Is NeverSpam an official Apollo.io partner?
No. NeverSpam is independent and not affiliated with Apollo.io. We use Apollo's public API for read operations and surface placement signal via webhook. Built for teams running cold outbound on Apollo who want template-based warmup instead of the sender-only model Apollo currently offers.
